On Thursday, the Chinese smartphone company Huawei unveiled its newest flagship models, the P60, P60 Pro, and P60 Art. The three new versions are all powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs and feature 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screens with refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The Huawei P60 series features 13-megapixel selfie cameras and triple camera modules in the back. By employing direct satellite networks, they provide a unique two-way satellite messaging functionality that enables users to send and receive messages. The Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro are powered by 4,815mAh batteries, which is a significant difference. The battery size of the Huawei P60 Art is somewhat higher at 5,100mAh.
Price and Availability:
For the 128GB storage option and CNY 4,988 for the 256GB storage variant, the Huawei P60 is priced at CNY 4,488 and CNY 4,988, respectively. The most expensive model, with 512GB of storage, costs CNY 5,988.
In contrast, the Huawei P60 Pro’s starting pricing for the 256GB storage model is CNY 6,988 and the 512GB storage variant is CNY 7,988.
Both cell phones come in the following color options: Rococo White (from Chinese), Feather Black, Feather Purple, Emerald Emerald, and Feather Black.
Priced at CNY 8,988 for the 512GB storage model and CNY 10,988 for the 1TB storage variation, the Huawei P60 Art is the most expensive model in the line. It is available in the Blue Sea and Quicksand Gold (Chinese) colors.
With VMall, all three Huawei phones are presently available for pre-order. They will all be available for purchase in the upcoming weeks. The Huawei P60 series is currently not available outside of China, according to Huawei.
Huawei P60 & P60 Pro Specs:
Running on HarmonyOS 3.1 is the dual SIM (nano) Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro. A 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,220 x 2,700 pixels) OLED LTPO display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, high-frequency PWM dimming at 1440 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz is included in them. Kunlun glass has been used to cover the panels. Both devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G SoC and Adreno GPU. The handsets’ RAM specifications are unknown.
The triple rear camera system of the Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro includes an LED flash. A 48-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with OIS make up the Huawei P60’s camera configuration.
The Huawei P60 Pro’s camera unit, in contrast, consists of two 48-megapixel sensors with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front of both phones has a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. They include inbuilt storage that can hold up to 512GB and enables microSD card extension (up to 256GB).
The Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro provide Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector for charging as connectivity options. A gravity sensor, an Infrared (IR) sensor, a hall sensor, a barometer, a gyroscope, a compass, an ambient light sensor, a color temperature sensor, and a proximity sensor are among the sensors aboard. In-display fingerprint scanners are also available for authentication. They also have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The 4,815mAh batteries of the Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro allow 50W wireless charging. While the Pro version delivers 80W rapid charging, the vanilla model only supports 66W.
Huawei P60 Art Specs:
The SIM, software, and display specs of the Huawei P60 Art are identical to those of the Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro. Moreover, it has an Adreno GPU and an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G SoC.
A 40-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and two 48-megapixel sensors with OIS make up the triple rear camera configuration on the Huawei P60 Art. It boasts a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for taking pictures and making video calls. It has up to 1TB of built-in storage that can be expanded with a Huawei Nano Memory card (up to 256GB).
The sensors and connectivity choices are the same as those found in the Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro. Moreover, the Huawei P60 Art has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Moreover, it boasts a dust- and water-resistant IP68-rated construction.
The Huawei P60 Art features a 5,100mAh battery inside. It is compatible with 50W wireless charging and 88W rapid charging.
