Recently, the 4G-only Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro were introduced in China. However, a recently released case allows phones to support 5G connectivity. Both handsets now have 5G-compatible cases thanks to a Chinese electronics manufacturer. The PU material used to create the case has a metal gray color. It offers 5G SA and NSA dual-mode frequency bands.
Huawei Central reported that Soyealink has introduced a case for the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro that will not only enable 5G connectivity on the devices but also include an integrated charging port that supports up to 88W fast charging. The case comes in the color metal grey and is made of premium PU material. It offers 5G SA and NSA dual-mode frequency bands. The case will enable on-screen 5G management instructions once it is connected to the phones.
Notably, the case does not support 5G on the physical SIM card and only supports eSIM.
Dual SIM 4G connectivity is supported by the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro. The phones recently made their debut in China. Their 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,220 x 2,700 pixels) OLED LTPO display has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz, and a high-frequency PWM dimming frequency of 1440 Hz. The phones run HarmonyOS 3.1 and are powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G SoC.
The phones come equipped with three rear cameras and an LED flash. The 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 12-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor all have optical image stabilization (OIS) on the Huawei P60. The Huawei P60 Pro, on the other hand, has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and two 48-megapixel sensors with OIS. Both phones have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
