The Huawei Mate 60 was introduced in China on August 31st. The new device, which is available in four different color options, is the Huawei Mate 50’s replacement and made its debut in September of last year. On the Huawei Mate 60, Huawei offers a 6.69-inch LTPO OLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Additionally, Kunlun glass protection for the display is included. The Huawei Mate 60 has a water-resistant IP68 construction and supports satellite messaging in China. A 4,750mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging powers the device.
Price and Availability:
Priced at CNY 5,999, the Huawei Mate 60’s 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is available. The 12GB RAM + 512GB and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage model prices haven’t yet been disclosed. The South Waxy Purple, White Sand Silver, Yachuan Green, and Yachuan Black color options for the phone are currently listed on the company website.
The 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro was released earlier this week for CNY 6,999.

The 6.69-inch LTPO OLED (1,216×2,688 pixels) display on the dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei Mate 60 runs Harmony OS 4 and has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. Additionally, the screen is protected by Kunlun glass. Unfortunately, Huawei chose to keep the new phone’s chipset a secret. There are 12GB available.

The onboard storage capacities for the Huawei Mate 60 are 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The device comes with a brand-new two-way Beidou satellite messaging feature that enables users to send and receive messages via satellite.
Cameras:
A 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.4 lens and OIS (optical image stabilization) support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter with an f/3.4 aperture and OIS are all featured on the Huawei Mate 60’s triple rear camera setup for photos and videos. A single 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens is located on the front of the device for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging:
The Huawei Mate 60 has a 4,750Ah battery that supports reverse wireless charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 66W fast charging. Water resistance is rated at IP68.
Dimensions and Weight:
It weighs about 209 grams and has dimensions of 161.4 x 76 x 7.95 mm.
Features:
Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging are all additional connectivity options on the Huawei Mate 60. There are several sensors onboard, including gravity, infrared (IR), hall, gyro, compass, ambient light, color temperature, and proximity sensors. For authentication, a fingerprint scanner is also integrated into the display.
