
In China, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro has been quietly introduced. The Huawei Mate 50 Pro’s successor from a year ago offers a number of significant improvements, including support for satellite calling and an LTPO AMOLED screen. The device has a 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with a 300Hz touch sampling rate and an adaptive refresh rate that varies between 1Hz and 120Hz. The new device from the Chinese manufacturer has three hole-punch cutouts at the top of the display housing a selfie camera and a 3D time of flight (ToF) sensor. It is available in three storage configurations.
Price and Availability:
The cost of the 12GB + 512GB Huawei Mate 60 Pro is CNY 6,999. The costs for the 256GB and 1TB storage options have not yet been disclosed. It will be offered in the following (from Chinese) color options: Akawa Sei, Southern Waxy Purple, White Sand Silver, and Yadan Black.
The device is currently available for pre-order through the Vmall online store. The company has not stated whether these phones will be sold in other markets.

According to the manufacturer, HarmonyOS 4.0 powers the dual-SIM (Nano) phone. A 6.82-inch Full HD+ (1,260 x 2,720 pixels) AMOLED screen with LTPO technology is present on the smartphone. There is a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate available. Additionally, it provides a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz and supports high-frequency PWM dimming at 1440 Hz.
The device has three holes punched out of the top of the display, each housing a 3D ToF sensor and a selfie camera. According to Huawei, it is shielded by second-generation Kunlun glass.
Storage:
The smartphone’s processor is a secret, according to the manufacturer. The recently released Huawei Mate 60 Pro comes with up to 1TB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM.
Cameras:
The smartphone has three rear cameras for optics, along with an LED flash housed in a circular camera island. The camera system consists of a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS support and 3.5x optical zoom, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS support. The phone has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front camera for selfies and video calls, along with a 3D depth camera.
Battery and Charging:
A 5,000mAh battery inside the Huawei Mate 60 Pro can withstand up to 88W of fast charging, 50W of wireless fast charging, and 20W of reverse wireless charging.
Features:
The phone also supports satellite calling, allowing users to place calls even when they are not connected to a cellular network.
