The HTC U23 Pro, the upcoming model from the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, could be unveiled soon. The HTC Wildfire E2 Play has introduced in Africa almost one month ago, and the company is currently reportedly developing a new smartphone. Recently, the alleged phone appeared on a Taiwanese message board, giving us a glimpse at both the phone’s appearance and its main features. There are rumors that the Snapdragon 700 series SoC will be included in the HTC U23 Pro. The phone is also said to have 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.
On Taiwan’s PTT message board, the alleged HTC U23 Pro has been spotted, exposing its design and salient characteristics. The phone has the HTC 2QC9100 model number. The phone has a plastic rear cover, according to the stolen images. The smartphone is likely to include an LED flash and a quad-camera setup housed inside a rectangular camera module. On the right panel, there may be a power button and volume controls, while the phone’s bottom is shown to have a USB Type-C charging port.
The listing also includes information about the phone’s camera and display specifications. The phone’s main camera will be 108 megapixels and support OIS. According to reports, the phone has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage. A 4,600mAh battery, support for wireless charging, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm audio port are additional information that has leaked.
The HTC Wildfire E2 Play was released in Africa’s entry-level market last month. The phone has a 6.82-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) display with a cutout in the shape of a water droplet that houses the front camera. A Unisoc T606 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage powers it.
