Evan Peters is prepared to work on another Ryan Murphy project after working with on American Horror Story and Pose. In Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the Emmy-winning actor will this time take on the role of one of America’s most notorious serial killers. In the limited series, Dahmer’s crimes—for which he was found guilty of killing over 17 men and devouring their flesh—will be seen from the viewpoint of his victims. The killer will be introduced to viewers over the course of ten episodes, and they will see him repeatedly released loose by the police up to his trial.
Here is a guide to help you figure out when and where to stream the series when it debuts, in case you haven’t heard the specifics about this bizarre true-crime story.
What Is Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story About?
That is what the man accompanying Dahmer to his apartment says until he begins to notice the place’s odd smell and hears the door lock behind him. Following this instance, the trailer shows a few other similar encounters in the apartment and gives viewers a glimpse of the horrendous practices that the killer would do to his victims. Narrated by his neighbor (played by Niecy Nash), who is rightfully questioning the noise and stench coming from Dahmer’s place, the trailer also shows the character paying her a visit and giving her a present. Given his track record with human flesh, we can infer that the meat in the sandwich came from one of his victims. There are also a few quick shots of the felon as a child, meaning that there might be a few flashbacks in the narrative that will give some context to when and where his obsession for murdering and eating people began. At the end of the trailer, Dahmer is spotted wearing an orange jumpsuit during his trial and the neighbor utters that she has called the authorities multiple times and that now “it’s too late”.
Until he starts to smell the strange odour in the flat and hears the door latch behind him, the man escorting Dahmer to his apartment continues to claim that. The trailer then shows a few other instances in the flat that are comparable to this one, giving viewers a preview of the horrifying acts the killer will commit upon his victims. The trailer also depicts the main character visiting her and giving her a gift. The narration is provided by his neighbour (played by Niecy Nash), who is understandably concerned about the noise and odour coming from Dahmer’s residence. We can assume that the meat in the sandwich came from one of his victims given his history with human flesh. There are a couple brief images of the criminal as well.
We can assume that the meat in the sandwich came from one of his victims given his history with human flesh. There are a few brief pictures of the criminal when he was younger, so the story may include a few flashbacks that will explain how and when his fascination with killing and eating people first started. The neighbour says that she has phoned the police numerous times and that it is now “too late” at the end of the video when Dahmer is seen wearing an orange jumpsuit during his trial.
