Black Adam is superhero film produced by DC Films and New Line Cinema. The movie is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel. Jaume Collet-Serra is a Spanish-American filmmaker who previously directed 2009’s Orphan and, more recently, 2021’s Jungle Cruise.
Although it has taken a while, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s eagerly awaited DC Extended Universe debut is finally scheduled to hit theatres. Shazamspinoff !’s and sequel, Black Adam, stars the legendary wrestler and actor as the titular antihero. Since the early 2000s, the film has been in production, and it is now about to hit theatres. The first champion of the wizard Shazam is a mighty being on par with Superman called Black Adam. Adam’s sense of morality, though, is occasionally a little more… let’s say flexible, in contrast to his heroic counterpart played by Zachary Levi. After a protracted absence, the character returns to the mortal realm in Black Adam.
In the movie Black Adam, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays the title character, Black Adam, a Kahndaq native endowed with supernatural abilities. Since the middle of the 2000s, Dwayne Johnson, who started his professional wrestling career in the WWE, has been in discussions to play the role. His casting decision was finally disclosed in 2014. Due to their prior collaboration on Jungle Cruise, Dwayne Johnson and director Jaume Collet-Serra are now working together a second time. Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Quintessa Swindell, and Noah Centineo all appear in Black Adam with Johnson as Atom Smasher, Hawkman, Adrianna Tomaz, and Cyclone.
As Doctor Fate, Pierce Brosnan portrays Kent Nelson. The doctor is the progeny of a sorcerer and archaeologist who is the owner of the Helmet of Fate. In the DC Extended Universe, Viola Davis is back as Amanda Waller.

Synopsis
After misusing his god-like powers, Black Adam was sentenced to a brutal 5,000 years of imprisonment – but now he is finally free. Upon his release, Adam vows that no one will take away his liberty again. Driven by his own brand of justice and unbelievable strength, the almighty anti-hero sets out to defeat his adversaries. This leads to an encounter with the Justice Society, a superhero team that includes Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.
Black Adam Trailer
On June 8, 2022, the first official Black Adam trailer debuted online, giving us our first comprehensive look at the movie following a number of teases and clips. The Justice Society of America must fight the titular character after he awakens from a 5,000-year nap in the trailer. Hawkman once says to Black Adam, “Heroes don’t kill people,” to which the anti-hero retorts, “Well, I do.” The trailer didn’t let us down with plenty of superhero action, humour, a snide reference to the previous Iron Man film, and The Rock being The Rock (as Black Adam).
Black Adam’s Cast
In addition to Dwayne Johnson, the cast of Black Adam will feature Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan as several iconic DC characters. Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu are additional cast members. As previously mentioned, Viola Davis will also reprise her role as Amanda Waller from the Suicide Squad. As Emilia Harcourt, a part she previously performed in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, Jennifer Holland is also coming back.
