Car sales have plummeted as a result of the auto industry’s problems. The main target of these problems, according to a recent update from autojournal.pk, was Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL).
The business was unable to sell even one of its top-of-the-line sedans last month, which sharply reduced overall sales. The report makes no mention of whether the low sales were brought on either weak demand or manufacturing problems.
Honda made the decision to prolong the manufacturing stoppage by an additional 15 days on March 31.
The prolonged suspension is attributed to a supply chain disruption brought on by the economy’s decline, as well as limitations on the importation of CKD and raw materials, according to the official announcement.
The most recent production halt was in place from March 9 until March 31. While the prolonged outage will last until April 15.
This suggests that Honda will have observed a car assembly halt in Pakistan for 38 days by the time this one is through.
Honda will probably continue to experience sales difficulties in the future as a result of this gloomy scenario.
