In terms of production and sales, Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) is having a terrible year. Due to supply chain problems brought on by import restrictions, the company’s output for the previous three months was atrocious. Its outrageously expensive cars only serve to exacerbate the issue.
Honda sold just 87 cars in Pakistan last month, despite being one of the country’s largest automakers in terms of production and volume. The company’s flagship sedan, the Civic, saw zero sales in that group for the third time in a row.
Honda recently announced that it would soon start up again. The automaker attributed the ability to restart production to a “slight improvement in the accessibility of trade financing facilities”. However, the precise start date of production is not stated.
According to a recent update, the company hasn’t manufactured any Civics in the past three months. This suggests that sales of the flagship sedan are likely to stay dismal for the foreseeable future.
