Hippo Scares the Lion - Lion Run Away

There is a common belief that lions are in charge of the forest and that no other animal would dare to oppose the dominant predator. Nevertheless, all of those presumptions are challenged by this video of a hippopotamus ejecting a lion. A lion drinking water was successfully frightened away by an angry hippo in one attempt. The dramatic meeting between the two creatures shocked social media users.

When the video starts, the lion is seen standing on the edge of a body of water while sipping water. From the center of the lake, the enraged hippo attacks the large cat. The lion is seen running away from the scene at the conclusion of the video, appearing to be startled by the surprise attack. Many other lions could also be spotted escaping the hippo. The hippo appears to be trying to protect its babies from the lion in the footage.
