Ten people, including children, were killed by lightning strikes in the Punjabi cities of Narowal, Pasrur, Sheikupura, and Sialkot, and seven more were hurt.

Streams flooded in Balochistan’s Shela Bagh, Toba Achakzai, Musa Khel, Ziarat Valley, Noshki, and Washuk. Rainfall was also experienced in Azad Jammu and Kashmir cities, including Muzaffarabad.
On June 25, a westerly wave and moist air currents from the Arabian Sea entered the upper and central parts of the country, prompting a weather alert from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
From the evening of June 24 to the evening of June 30, this weather system is predicted to bring rain, wind, and thunderstorms to a number of locations, with the potential for very heavy downpours.
