Just months before she inexplicably disappeared, a MISSING mum posted a devastating message in which she welcomed her friend’s work progress.
Days after his wife Ana, 39, vanished, Brian Walshe, 46, was charged with deceiving police.
In the early hours of January 1st, Ana was last seen at her Cohasset, Massachusetts, residence.
According to her family, she was meant to share a ride before boarding a trip to Washington, DC.
Ana complimented her friend Carrie Westbrook on getting a promotion months before she disappeared.
She said: “Congrats and so well deserved. Love you.”
According to her LinkedIn page, Carrie began working at the Culinary Institute of America in August in her position as vice president of Saint Germain Catering.
Ana discussed training with her coworkers at the InterContinental The Willard hotel in Washington, DC, in a different post from September.
“8 years ago,” she said, “where is the time going?”
The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office claims that when Brian allegedly mislead the inquiry, he was detained and later prosecuted.
He is due in court on February 9 and was remanded on a $500,000 cash bail.
On January 2, Brian allegedly informed officials that he went out with his son to acquire ice cream.
However, he was caught on camera purchasing $450 worth of cleaning goods at a Home Depot.
According to officials, he purchased buckets, tape, and a tarp.
Prosecutors claim that authorities discovered blood and a broken knife in the basement.
After Ana failed to show up for work in Washington, DC, on January 4, her family and employer filed a missing persons report.
After Ana failed to show up for work in Washington, DC, on January 4, her family and employer filed a missing persons report.
According to Brian, she informed him that she was moving her flight up to January 1 due to a work emergency.
However, according to the police, Ana did not fly out of Logan Airport on that particular day.
According to authorities, she hasn’t left any digital traces because her debit, credit, and telephone have all been dormant since the beginning of the year.
Whether or not she got a ridesharing is still a mystery.
Since she made the same trip every week, according to the police, there is a possibility that she and the same drivers had a “offline” arrangement.
The Boston Globe claims that the couple’s pool was also drained and a creek was checked by divers.
Three K9 teams and more than twenty state troopers participated in the hunt.
It wouldn’t restart, according to the police, until new details about the case were discovered.
Concern for Ana has been expressed by friends and coworkers.
She is the kind of girl who is incredibly put together and overcommunicative about things, Carrie told the Boston Globe.
On December 27, Ana was scheduled to go see Carrie, but she texted her friend to let her know she would be running late.
Two hours later, according to Carrie, Ana claimed in a message that her phone had died.
