Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme (PMYB&ALS), HBL, Damen Support Program, and Thardeep Microfinance Foundation have partnered to provide individuals and small businesses with financing that is interest-free.
The Bank is committed to promoting financial inclusion and reducing poverty, said Khaqan Muhammad Khan, Global Head of Financial Institutions and Remittance Business – HBL. Thousands of people’s lives will be improved by the collaboration between HBL, Damen Support Program, and Thardeep Microfinance Foundation under the PMYB&ALS scheme.
“The partnership with HBL will be instrumental in advancing our mission of promoting financial inclusion and will empower people from marginalized segments of society to realize their entrepreneurial dreams,” said Dr. Sonu Khangharani, CEO of Thardeep Microfinance Foundation.
CEO of Damen Support Program Musharraf Khan stated that “interest-free financing is a boon that small businesses and individual entrepreneurs could take advantage of amid inflationary pressures. The collaboration with HBL had previously produced fruitful financial inclusion projects, and this plan would present yet another chance to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs who require financial support.”
