Haley Odlozil, a TikTok sensation, died at the age of 30.
Eight years ago, the social media celebrity was diagnosed with Stage IIIC ovarian cancer, and her heartbroken husband Taylor Odlozil announced her death on Friday.
“It is with unbelievable sadness that I tell all of you my sweet Haley has passed away. I cannot begin to describe the amount of heart ache & grief myself & our entire family is experiencing.
“I never knew my heart could physically hurt. Ive never seen someone fight so hard to live. Her love for me, Weston, her family, & her friends is what has kept her going for so many years, especially the last 8 months,” he wrote on TikTok.
Taylor described himself as “blessed” to have Haley in his life, adding, “It has been my true honor to take care of her.”
The couple had been dating since they were in high school in 2008. They married in late 2015, shortly after Haley was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Weston, the couple’s son, was born via surrogate in 2019.
“I am so grateful for the lessons I have learned from Haley,” Taylor concluded. As the husband, I have witnessed every event. “The happy and sad ones.”
He stated he is “so thankful” he was able to see Haley’s motherhood.
“She was an incredible mother,” he wrote. “My heart breaks most for Weston. I dont think he will ever fully understand what he meant to Haley. He was everything to her.
“I love you Haley. More than I can put into words. You are a part of who I am and I will never stop loving you. I cant wait to see you again.”
Taylor also paid tribute to his family and friends and thanked them for their support.
Haley shared her cancer journey with fans on TikTok, with Taylor saying he has received messages from people from around the world.
He said: “She has changed so many people & brought awareness to this terrible disease. Im so proud of that. She always said she didnt want her suffering to be wasted. Haley wanted people to learn from her. I would say she accomplished that!”
Taylor finished his tribute by announcing he would be stepping back from social media for a short while in order to spend time with his son.
