This year, Rabi Ali, a resident of Iraqi Kurdistan, has finally been given approval to perform the Hajj. Due to his advanced age, he has already been turned down three times. He is 103 years old. After waiting three years, Rabi Ali is overjoyed to have the opportunity to complete this significant Islamic pilgrimage.
He thanks God for giving him the chance to travel and perform the Hajj, which is a significant occasion for Muslims.
Rabi Ali is the oldest Kurdistani to visit the Kaaba, according to Karwan Stoney, the media officer for the Hajj Mission in the Kurdistan Region. The Saudi government removed the age restriction for Hajj pilgrims, allowing elderly people like Rabi Ali to be accepted for the pilgrimage.
In the Juman neighborhood of the Kurdistan region, Rabi Ali resides in an old home. He has a view of Iraq’s tallest mountain peak from his home. His identity card states that he was born on July 1st, 1920.
