Government employees’ salaries will increase as of July 1, 2023, according to a notification that was issued by the government.
The specifics state that a notification of a 30 to 35 percent increase in government employees’ salaries has been issued.
According to the notification, federal employees in grades 1 through 16 will see a 35% pay increase, while those in grades 17 through 22 will see a 30% pay increase. The notification will go into effect on July 1, 2023.
Recall that the budget stated that the salaries of government employees in grades 1 to 16 would increase by 35 percent and those in grades 17 to 22 would increase by 30 percent. The government also increased the salaries and pensions of these employees.
The minimum pension for government employees was raised to 12000 rupees per month while the pension was increased by 17.5 percent.
