Google opened its first App Growth Lab ever in Pakistan to find high-potential app developers, studios, and businesses looking to build and grow their businesses.
The four-month programs include rigorous instruction and support phases that give students the chance to pick the brains of Google experts in areas like Ads, AdMob, Firebase, gTech, and Play as well as industry pioneers.
Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, claims that the project demonstrates Google’s commitment to the sustained growth of the nation’s developer ecosystem. We want to support Pakistani developers in their endeavor to create outstanding apps for the entire world, he declared.
The App Growth Lab project’s four main pillars are build, develop, launch, and scale.
According to a report by the private market intelligence platform Data Darbar, Pakistan’s app market saw 3.52 billion downloads in 2022, an increase of 35%. Google’s App Growth Lab is expected to further accelerate the industry’s growth in the country.
