According to the most recent Gallup poll results, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan leads the poll, according to The Friday Times.
According to a recent Gallup poll, 62% of Pakistanis blame the incumbent Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government rather than the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the current economic meltdown and political chaos.
PTI chairman Imran Khan was rated positively across the country in Gallup Pakistan’s national representative survey, which was conducted in the first 20 days of February 2023 with a sample size of nearly 2,000 survey respondents. Many respondents appeared open to supporting a new political party led by technocrats and ‘honest’ politicians.
PDM was correctly blamed for inflation and instability in the country, according to 62% of those polled.
The public’s opinion on who to blame for the current economic crisis was clear, with the majority (62%) blaming the PDM/PML-N government, while only 38% blamed the preceding PTI government. It is not surprising that the vast majority of those who blamed the PDM/PML-N had voting intentions for the PTI, and vice versa.

People aged 50 and up had the highest proportion of those who said they would leave their current party and vote for a new, honest party.
According to the survey results, males were slightly more likely than females to vote for the hypothetical new party with ‘honest’ political representatives.
Surprisingly, among all political party voters, the PTI had the highest percentage of voters willing to leave their party – in favour of a more honest political platform – at 52%.

In terms of Imran Khan’s decision to dissolve assemblies in Punjab and KP, 57% of respondents agreed with him. The majority (83%) of those who support his decision intend to vote for PTI.

The political situation in the country may change as elections are held, but for the time being, Imran Khan leads Gallup poll on almost all fronts.
