Imran Khan gained the love and respect of the country as a cricketer and humanitarian decades before entering politics. He established the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) (SKMCH). It’s interesting to note that he gave Shaukat Khanum Hospital his whole prize money from winning the 1992 Cricket World Cup.
The Imran Khan Foundation and Namal Institute, a technical institution in Mianwali that is a component of Namal Knowledge City, are two of Imran Khan’s significant social and charity initiatives.
In addition, his most recent flood telethons were a big success. In just three hours, the first flood telethon earned over Rs5 billion in donations. To date, over Rs3 billion has been given, and more money is still being gathered.
Imran Khan said that the second telethon raised Rs 5.2 billion in under two hours. It’s interesting to note that Imran Khan claimed the authorities attempted to prevent his second telethon.
