Jamshed Ahmed Dasti, a former MNA and the leader of the Awami Raj Party, has formally joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), according to ARY News on Wednesday.
The Awami Raj Party leader made the announcement following a meeting with Imran Khan, the party’s chairman and a former premier, at the latter’s home in Lahore’s Zaman Park.

Jamshed Dasti expressed his support for Imran Khan’s leadership and the party’s “Haqeeqi Azadi” movement.
It is important to note that Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI, now conducts his political business out of his Zaman Park home.Ijaz-ul-Haq, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League Zia (PML-Z), formally joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led by Imran Khan earlier in March. (PTI).
Ijaz-ul-Haq, the leader of the PML-Z, and Zia-ul-Haq’s son met Imran Khan. Haq declared that he would formally join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after the meeting.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, a former chief minister of Punjab, and ten other former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) members of parliament joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in February. (PTI).
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice president Fawad Chaudhry and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi made the announcement at a press conference in Lahore.
“Former Punjab CM and his associates have joined PTI”, Fawad Chaudhry said, adding that Elahi and his associates made sacrifices to stand with Tehreek-e-Insaf. He announced that Pervaiz Elahi will be the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
