PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government introduced the “Flood Reporting App” on Monday in an effort to quickly aid those impacted by devastating floods.
Atif Khan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Science and Information Technology, gave specific directions for the introduction of the smartphone application.
The minister stated in a statement that flood victims will be able to register their need for aid, such as food or medicine, through the Flood Reporting App.
He assured the victims that prompt support will be given by the relevant departments and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
