Following allegations of a shooting, five adults have been found dead inside a house, according to authorities.
According to the Charles County Sheriff’s office, the owners of the Maryland house made the horrifying discovery Friday night.
The sheriff’s office tweeted about claims of a shooting at the house’s location earlier that evening, though the cause of death has not yet been established.
Although officials said that the “scene is contained,” they provided few details regarding the eerie scene.
According to NBC 4, they are reportedly speaking with the homeowners who discovered the five dead.
Police cruisers and officers are seen swarming what looks to be a normally peaceful area in footage from nearby stations.
