ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police filed a complaint against TikToker for filming a video on the grounds of the revered Faisal Mosque.
Based on Section 295 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which deals with “offences linked to religion” and “injuring or defiling place of worship,” the first information report (FIR) recorded at the Margalla police station.
Police acted after a TikTok video depicting a girl performing a catwalk at Pakistan’s national mosque, the Faisal Mosque in the country’s capital Islamabad, appeared on social media.

The video was shared on Twitter by Islamabad Updates with the caption, “Who will take action on this indecency in Faisal Masjid Islamabad?”
After the video went viral, it incited rage among internet users.
