Laraib, a female student at Government College (GC) University Faisalabad, tragically perished in a private dorm under mysterious circumstances. A rescue team was called to the hostel after her condition worsened. Laraib, regrettably, did not make it through the transfer to Civil Hospital.
Authorities have confirmed that the deceased was a Hafizabad-based bachelor of science (BS) student. Her body was received by her grieving family.
Shabiran Dahri, a woman who lived in a shelter home in Nawabshah, perished in another tragic incident after her health deteriorated while she was at Darul Aman. According to the police, Shabiran had been married twice and had been sent to the shelter home as a result of a court order. Her in-laws were allegedly holding her against her will, according to a man posing as her husband.
Ayaz Dahri, Shabiran’s brother, claimed that someone at Darul Aman had given his sister poison. Shabiran was scheduled to attend a court proceeding, according to Ayaz, but they learned of her failing health there instead. He demanded a legal investigation and asserted that she was Asif Dahri’s wife.
