According to a statement made by FBISE Controller of Examinations Aqeel Imran, all tests on May 15 will be held as scheduled.
He stated that the new dates for the postponed tests would be disclosed later.
The Punjab Higher Education Department (PHED) stated earlier today that the ninth-grade examinations planned for May 11 and 12 had been postponed.
It was also announced that all colleges and institutions will be closed for the next two days.
In addition, the British Council has cancelled all Cambridge International, Pearson, University of London, ACCA, and IELTS tests scheduled for May 11 across Pakistan.
Previously, the FBISE postponed tests on May 10 (today).
The arrest of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has sparked massive demonstrations.
In the subsequent unrest, at least four people were murdered, and the army was summoned in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. In the meanwhile, Sindh enacted Section 144 in order to preserve law and order.
Mobile data services were affected for a second day, as were Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
