A Youtuber star has been detained after it is claimed that his sports car collided head-on with a cab, killing a toddler and five people.
Police claim that the Mexican content producer known by the alias Heisenwolf was to blame for the collision when his powerful vehicle veered into the opposing lane of a highway.
According to police, the YouTuber, whose real name is believed to be Amado Amir Gonzalez, struck the taxi on Sunday in Atlacomulco.
The 26-year-red old’s Chevrolet Camaro and the Nissan Tsuru cab that the six victims were riding in are said to have been engaged in the collision.
According to the prosecution, the sports car slammed into the cab, killing two ladies, ages 30 and 56, as well as three men, ages 26, 35, and 62.
Also slain was a child who was under ten years old.
The taxi driver and two of the passengers reportedly passed away at the site, while the other three were taken to the hospital where they eventually passed away.
Gonzalez, a YouTuber with more than 1.47 million subscribers, was hurt in the collision and rushed to the hospital.
After being released from the hospital, he will appear before a judge at a later time after being arrested.
An investigation into the occurrence for manslaughter has been launched by the authorities.
