Shaan Shahid, a Bollywood actor, has criticized Faisal Qureshi for his lack of filmmaking experience.
This follows Faisal’s directorial debut for the recently released film Money Back Guarantee, starring Fawad Khan.
Shaan Shahid compared Faisal’s directorial debut to his popular ‘Ufone’ commercials, claiming that commercials are only 45 seconds long and much easier to make than films.
The Waar actor indirectly mocked Qureshi, saying, “Producers should be held responsible for getting directors who have no experience when it comes to films.”
It will be interesting to see how Faisal Qureshi responds to Shaan Shahid’s criticism.
Action-comedy Money Back Guarantee was written and directed by Faisal Qureshi. Fawad Khan, Hina Dilpazir, Ali Safina, Wasim Akram, Shayan Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Gohar Rasheed, and Jan Rambo are among the ensemble cast members in the movie.
The movie examines the contrast between capitalism and socialism while touching on a number of social issues including corruption, VIP culture, stereotyping, theft, political point-scoring, injustice, and discrimination. It is set in a fictional bank called Pak Bank that houses the wealth of Pakistan’s corrupt politicians.
Both critics and viewers have had conflicting opinions of Qureshi’s debut feature film. While some viewers praised the film’s original plot and entertaining performances, others had negative things to say about the film’s direction and script.
