Facebook agreed to pay $725 million to users who had an active U.S. Facebook account between May 2007 and December 2022 as part of a lawsuit settlement.
Users can submit claims for a portion of the settlement through August 25. The number of users who submit claims and how long each user had a Facebook account will determine the payout amounts.
Users can file a claim by visiting Facebookuserprivacysettlement.com and entering their name, address, email address, proof of U.S. residency, and information about their Facebook activity at the time.
