F9 Park Rape Case
On February 2, two armed men are accused of forcing a woman into a rape in Islamabad’s F-9 park. The nation was stunned by the thieves’ daring when they approached the victim and her colleague in the park, according to the first information report, when the case broke two days ago (FIR).
The FIR also alleged that the aggressors with guns separated the two and forced them into a nearby thicket. After the victim begged the attackers to let her go and even offered them money in exchange for her safety, the attackers beat her up, according to the FIR.
The attackers battered the woman and threatened to contact their “friends” to join them when she tried to raise her voice. The perpetrators also prevented her from fleeing, according to the FIR.
The accused perpetrators told the victim she shouldn’t be in the park at “this” time of night as they were vanishing into a nearby thicket while returning “all our things and giving us Rs 1,000 to stay silent.”
