The British Council has announced the cancellation of all papers set for May 10 due to the ongoing uncertainty following the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.
There is currently no information available regarding the rescheduling of the exams; the decision was made in response to the nation’s current circumstances. The O-Level Physics and A-Level Mathematics exams, which were scheduled for the morning and evening shifts, have also been postponed by the Cambridge International Examinations.
The exams won’t be redone in Pakistan because they will be administered as scheduled globally, according to the British Council, and grades will be calculated on an average.
In response to these developments, the All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) has announced that all schools will be closed on May 10.
Kashif Mirza, President of the APPSF, emphasized the importance of exercising caution during the emergency situation and stated that discussions will take place to determine when regular classes will resume.
