Emily Zgoda who had grown weary of leaving men off of dating apps decided to present them with her “dating CV.”
On her birthday, Emily Zgoda had the brilliant notion of dating her CV. When she received the idea to use the photos for something useful, her companion had decorated their apartment with pictures of their memories.
“I have gone on a few Hinge dates here and there, [and] most of them have been with great guys, just not MY guy. t’s a harsh reality that some of our generation relies on dating apps instead of meeting organically, and I have always had hopes of meeting someone in person. I figured this would be a good strategy to cut to the chase and meet someone in the wild,” Emily told BuzzFeed.
“I definitely receive mixed responses, but most of the time they are so caught off guard that it’s a great icebreaker,” she said.
Here’s what netizens said about Emily handing out her dating resumes:
“I applaud you for approaching guys and being brave enough to make the first move.”

“Ooh. Yes and yes! Rooting especially hard for this one.”
So, did the idea work for Emily?
While most men followed up with a text, one guy managed to secure a date with Emily.
