Elon Musk bought Twitter a week ago and promised a significant makeover.
In addition to wanting to establish a new content moderation council with a variety of opinions, he proposed a new $8 per month subscription plan for users to keep and earn a blue verification check on the site.
In addition to stirring up controversy, the tech mogul ousted Twitter’s senior executives.
However, it appears that Musk has chosen to keep firing people in large numbers, including one employee who is eight months pregnant.
Rachel Bonn, who worked in product marketing and digital experience at the social media platform, posted on her account on Friday (4 November) to say that her laptop’s power had been shut off the previous evening.
“Last Thursday in the SF office, really the last day Twitter was Twitter. 8 months pregnant and have a 9-month-old.
“Just got cut off from laptop access,” she captioned her tweet, accompanied by an image of herself and her nine-month-old child in front of a pumpkin display.

In a memo distributed to Twitter employees on the same day as Bonn’s post, it was said that emails informing staff of their employment status will be sent out on Friday morning.
“By 9AM PST on Friday, Nov. 4th, everyone will receive an individual email with the subject line: Your Role at Twitter. Please check your email, including your spam folder,” the memo read, according toBusiness Insider.
A notification will be issued to Twitter email accounts of those who are not affected by the firings, according to the memo. However, they will be informed via personal email if they are going to accept the discharge.
