A missing jogger’s terrifying last actions were seen on camera just miles from the scene of another kidnapping; her car has since been removed from her house, according to sources.
Eliza Fletcher, a 34-year-old teacher from Memphis, was seen in the chilling security tape jogging just before she was put into a dark SUV in Tennessee by an assailant who is still at large.
At 4.20 in the morning, witnesses told Memphis police that Fletcher, a billionaire heir to a hardware dynasty, was jogging near Central Avenue and Zach Curlin Street when a man allegedly approached her.
A set of garden shears and a computer were marked as evidence less than 24 hours after she vanished, according to Fox 13. Memphis police were also observed removing her family’s car from the house.
Most of the day, there were numerous police officers at the Fletcher residence and nearby Overton Park. She lives there with her husband, Richard “Richie” Fletcher III, and their two children.
An new plea for information regarding the suspect’s vehicle—a “dark-colored GMC Terrain”—was tweeted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Less than a day after she vanished, Memphis police were observed pulling her family’s car from the house and marking a computer and a set of garden shears as evidence, according to Fox 13.
The majority of the day saw a significant police presence at the Fletcher residence as well as nearby Overton Park, where she lives with her husband Richard “Richie” Fletcher III and their two children.
A revised tweet from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation asking for information on the suspect’s vehicle, which they identified as “a dark-colored GMC Terrain,” was posted.
According to descriptions, Fletcher is a Caucasian woman who is 5’6″ tall. She has brown hair, green eyes, and a 137 lb. weight.
“We don’t know what’s going on, but everybody is desperately looking for her and the police here are on it,” Fletcher’s friend Hart Robinson told WREG.
“You can see there is a lot of activity, so if you know anything or saw anything early this morning, we just ask that you come forward. We want to find her.”
Among the organisations working in the search for Fletcher are the FBI and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Police are requesting that anyone with relevant information or videotape come forward at this time.
On Facebook, Hutchison School, a private school for only girls, requested prayers in response to the terrible circumstances. Fletcher was employed at St. Mary’s Episcopal School, according to the organisation.
She was also recognised as a member of Second Presbyterian Church, which published an urgent prayer request.
The terrifying kidnapping of the teacher took place only a few miles from the Target parking lot where a mother and her infant were abducted while loading groceries into their car.
On August 31 in Memphis, Tennessee, two guys abducted the wife and her infant kid.
