The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Wednesday that there would be five days off in observance of Eid ul Fitr, a festival that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world.
The bank will be closed from Friday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 25, according to the central bank’s notification, which was issued in this regard.
The five-day holiday, which Muslims most eagerly anticipate because it concludes the holy month of fasting, was also approved by the federal government, which is important to note.
The government may extend the current five-day Eid holiday to six days, according to media reports.
