United Arab Emirates (UAE) village of Dhadna recently experienced a minor earthquake with a Richter scale magnitude of 3.2 at 10:51 (UAE local time).
A minor earthquake in the mentioned region was also confirmed by the monitoring stations of the National Seismological Network and the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
The news was swiftly announced on the NCM’s official Twitter account. It assured locals that there had been no reported damage or injuries while also providing specific information about the earthquake.
The NCM’s experts are still keeping an eye on the area’s seismic activity. In order to be better prepared, it is important to analyze and forecast these events.
The tremor in Dhadna is regarded as a common occurrence in the UAE that is only moderately severe. Infrastructure in the nation is designed to withstand such seismic activity. Residents are kept safe and potential damages are reduced thanks to this design.
According to an NCM expert previously cited by Khaleej Times, the UAE has low to moderate seismic activity. Being outside of a seismically active belt indicates that the nation is generally safe.
