The Mirror reported that a resort in Dubai plans to construct a phony moon atop a tall structure. The Canadian businessman Michael Henderson is in charge of the “Moon” project, which entails building a sphere on a 30 m long structure.
This project aims to give users the opportunity to experience being on a satellite without actually leaving the planet. The makers anticipate that the fake moon will draw more than 2.5 million visitors a year and bring in more than £1.5 billion in revenue. Moon World Resorts will contribute the funding, which totals £4.28 billion.
Henderson emphasized the international recognition of the Dubai brand in expressing confidence in the project’s success. A resort with a 4,000-room hotel, a 10,000-seat arena, a nightclub, and a wellness center will be located inside the moon. Additionally, visitors will be able to experience what it would be like to walk through a “lunar colony” on the moon. A full, half, or crescent moon will also appear on the artificial moon when it is illuminated at night.
