Reduced school hours in Dubai during Ramadan 2023 have been announced by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
The KHDA has mandated that school hours in Dubai should exceed five hours of instruction time, according to the specifics. Additionally, it stated that in order to accommodate the Friday prayer, schools’ start times on Fridays could not be later than 12:00 noon.
Additionally, it has been mandated that schools excuse students who are fasting from participating in physical education classes, and that the standards for homework and revision be reviewed and lowered.
Numerous schools in Dubai have reportedly set their schedules for Ramadan 2023 to run from 7.45 am to 12.45 am, Monday through Thursday, with regular hours on Friday.
It is important to note that Ramadan is anticipated to start on March 23 and end on April 21 in the UAE.
