A doctor working in the Lodhran district’s Dunyapur tehsil is under investigation for alleged grave medical negligence. In this case, a young girl was admitted to the hospital for an appendix operation; however, the doctor unintentionally left a towel inside the patient’s abdomen while performing the surgery, which is disturbing.
The girl’s father formally complained about the incident to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) right away.
He traveled to Islamabad in search of additional medical help out of concern for his daughter’s health. A towel was discovered inside the girl’s abdomen after an operation by the doctors in the capital city, supporting the claims made against the doctor in Dunyapur.
The girl’s father is currently pleading with PMDC to take severe action against the accused doctor and revoke his license to practice medicine.
He stresses how important it is to hold medical professionals accountable in order to stop the occurrence of similar alarming incidents. As a result, an investigation by the authorities is anticipated.
