Scientists have found dinosaur fossil fragments in Spain that suggest the existence of a brand-new dinosaur species. Based on the examination of these fossils, which include a jaw bone, a tooth, and five vertebrae, they have discovered a new species of spinosaurid.
The 2011 discovery of the fossils in Castellon, Spain, was recently described in a scientific journal. Spinosaurus are renowned for their enormous size and two-legged walking. Additionally, they were typically carnivorous dinosaurs.
The estimated age of the fossils is between 127 and 126 million years ago. The scientists estimate that this dinosaur was between 10 and 11 meters long, or 32 and 36 feet, based on the remains.
