Dawn Whitham, a famous bodybuilder and powerlifter, passed away from cancer.
57-year-old Dawn passed away on February 14, according to a post on her Facebook page.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the heavily inked weightlifting sensation gained notoriety for her incredible power displays.
Although the cause of death has not been determined, the celebrity previously discussed her “terrible” stage 4 brain cancer battle.
Based in Connecticut, USA, Dawn kept her followers up to speed on her condition on social media frequently for months.
She uploaded a photo of herself sporting a headgear bearing the inscription “F**k Brain Cancer” on the front.
The tattooed bodybuilder revealed in November that she was receiving care at a cancer centre in New Haven.
She said on social media: “Kicking butt [and] staying positive.”
She added: “I’ll beat this cancer stuff like it owes me money! I’m on a mission.”
The weightlifting ace said she was about to start “hitting” her home gym after putting on the pounds.
November, she remarked: “This brain cancer is still being treated. I gained weight; today at Yale, I weighed 124 pounds! I’m going to start working out at home!”
Whitham received tributes after passing away.
She was “such a fighter and an inspiration to many,” according to one person.

Dawn started competing in powerlifting in the late 80s and was hailed for her exceptional strength.
She demonstrated a massive 180 kg bench press and squat, which is the equivalent of lifting two baby elephants.
She also performed a herculean 63 reps of a 100 kg squat, which is nearly the same weight as boxer Anthony Joshua.
Dawn decided to abandon powerlifting in the 1990s after a successful run in order to follow her passion for bodybuilding.
She won the Ms. USA – AAU pageant’s Medium Category in 1990.
The champion won the overall competition as well as the heavyweight division at the 1992 Atlantic State Championships.
