According to deputies, a teacher in Maryland is accused of abusing a young child sexually.
David Warren Henson, Jr., 53, is charged with several crimes, including child pornography and sexual assault of a juvenile, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Department (CCSO).
According to detectives, Henson mistreated the girl for two years.
Since September 2021, Henson has worked as a teacher at Grace Lutheran Church in La Plata. In this instance, the victim wasn’t a pupil at the church where he worked.
Henson is currently detained at the Charles County Correctional Center without being given a bond.

This month in Charles County, another guy was detained and charged with possessing and disseminating child porn. David Allen Payne, 57, of Waldorf, Maryland, was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
At home, Payne was taken into custody. After being transported to the Charles County Correctional Facility, he was later freed after paying a $5,000 bond.
