A bizarre climbing mishap occurred while the Australian guy and his wife were travelling in Canada, and he passed away in her arms.
When Daniel Heritage, 28, fell in Calgary’s Rocky Mountains on Wednesday (October 5), the pair had just recently embarked on what was meant to be their lifetime adventure.
In addition to travelling across the Rockies, he and his wife Emma had posted pictures online of their trip, which featured Daniel swimming and climbing while they took in the breathtaking alpine environment.
Daniel’s exact cause of death is still unknown, however Emma’s twin sister, Jessica Bartel, said that her sister had held her husband in her arms as he passed away.

According to the MailOnline, Emma’s father has now gone to Canada to help his daughter.
As a twin, Jessica claimed that she had a special bond with Daniel, whom she referred to as one of the most ambitious persons she had ever met.
He felt like my brother before they were married, she told the Advertiser.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with the expenses and has already raised over £14,000.
It read: “We would greatly appreciate any support to help ease the financial costs associated with travelling so suddenly and to support the families with funeral costs and other expenses,’ Ms Bartel wrote on the campaign.
“We wanted to thank everyone for your kind words, love and support so far during this challenging time.
