Dahud Jolicoeur was found dead in a waterway near his home despite cops’ search with sniffer dogs.
Police posted a missing person alert on Facebook on Saturday following the disappearance of Dahud Jolicoeur in West Palm Beach, Florida.
After Dahud Jolicoeur vanished in West Palm Beach, Florida, police issued a missing person warning on Facebook on Saturday.
“We are so incredibly saddened to announce that we found Dahud. He was located in a waterway deceased a block or so from home,” the Police wrote on social media.
“Please keep the Jolicoeur family in your thoughts and prayers,” they added with a broken heart emoji.
According to West Palm Beach police, Jolicoeur was last seen near the 1800 block of Wood Glen Circle.
He was dressed in grey slacks and a long-sleeved white hoodie.
He was nonverbal and autistic, according to officials.
Dahud’s inability to swim was also confirmed by the police.
According to state statistics reported by WTSP, 78 Florida kids drowned in 2021 as opposed to 69 in 2020.
The CDC reports that children of colour drown to a greater extent than other children.
