A young man in Egypt perished while attempting to save his fiancée from drowning. The bodies of the couple who perished in the Nile River have been found by rescuers.
The port claims that a young man and a young woman perished in the Nile River while attempting to book a wedding hall where they intended to hold their engagement ceremony.
The girl fell into the river while traveling and drowned after her foot slipped. In an attempt to save her, the boy dove behind her, but instead of saving the girl, he drowned.
The bodies of a young man and his fiancée who drowned in the waters of the Nile River in the governorate of Daqaliya in northern Egypt have been found by river rescue teams.
They were en route to reserve a hall for the engagement ceremony when the accident occurred.
Officers from the Mansoura First Police Department’s Investigation Unit and River Rescue Forces arrived at the scene right away.
The necessary incident report was made public after both bodies were moved to The International Hospital in Mansura’s mortuary.
