Unusual meal recipes are aplenty online and are becoming increasingly popular. These dishes frequently combine unorthodox flavors, such as Ice Cream Dosa, Thumbs Up Panipuri, Rasgulla Chai, and Idli Kulfi. Some, like the Vada Pav Pizza, even blend two distinct cuisines. Not all of these dishes, though, are popular. Cotton Candy Ice Cream, the most recent contentious invention, has some Desi foodies upset and wondering what the appeal is.
A lady recently shared a video on Instagram showing how to create Cotton Candy Ice Cream without using either ice or cream. She started by pouring the chocolate syrup into a paper cup and freezing it for five minutes. She then poured extra chocolate syrup and pink cotton candy into the cup. She then added a candy stick and briefly froze the mixture. Since then, the video has gained popularity since many fans of Indian cuisine thought the meal was bland and anything but “cool.”
