Christopher Forrest carried out a succession of terrible assaults against the 33-year-old during a three-year reign of terror.
The 40-year-old man wrapped his fingers around her throat as he grabbed her by the hair and threw her against a wall.
In addition, Forrest broke a windshield wiper after pushing the woman into a car’s back seat.
The hulking thug was secretly caught on a dog-watching camera at their home in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, lunging at the petite victim.
As he choked her, he said, “I don’t care if I go to jail, you are going to die in my hands you small cow.”
The woman could be seen struggling to breathe, anxiously trying to push Forrest away.
After confessing to abusing his partner from July 2017 to August 2020, Forrest has already served 27 months in prison.
A one-year supervision order and a ten-year no-harassment order were also given to him
The violence was shocking and a threat to human life, according to sheriff Linda Nicolson. It was shocking how violent it was.
“The damage you did to your victim was severe. The court must reflect the severity.”
The lady testified in court about how domineering Forrest would peruse her social media and accuse her of infidelity when they were dating.
They split up in 2017, but they remained in touch because of the house where the attacks happened.
