The internet is in shock after watching a spine-chilling video of a cheetah being chased in the wild. The animal can be seen sneaking up on the victim in the viral video before making an equally horrifying and interesting final run. The cheetah looks to be pursuing what may be a lizard. As the little animal becomes aware of the cheetah’s proximity, it flees for its life. The predator follows suit, and for a brief moment, it seems as though the little creature might be able to flee or conceal itself among the lush foliage. But, the cheetah soon closes the distance. The animal launches itself in front of the prey in an effort to prevent the little critter from fleeing. The wild animal then appears to suffocate the reptile in a quick motion, concluding the hunt.
