Charli D’Amelio, a social media star from the United States, is currently dominating the internet – and her bank account is grateful.
According to new Slingo research, the 18-year-old, dubbed the “Face of TikTok,” is the top highest-earning female on the video-sharing app, earning £123,505 per post.
This has earned her a reported net worth of $20 million (£16.4 million), which we think you’d agree isn’t bad for a teen.
But what makes her so popular?
Charli was a competitive dancer for over ten years before launching her social media career in 2019 with TikTok dance videos.
She now has a whopping 150.4 million Instagram followers who check in to see what she’s up to.
In addition to TikTok, she posts photos and videos on her Instagram page, which has 48.1 million followers.
She has now taken over not only social media, but also film and television screens.
Charlie made her feature film debut in the 2020 animated film StarDog and TurboCat as a voice actress.
She has also appeared in the Hulu docu-series The D’Amelio Show and the Snap Original reality show Charli vs. Dixie since 2021.
Meanwhile, the teen appeared as a celebrity contestant on Dancing with the Stars last year and won with dance partner Mark Ballas.
Charli also has two books, a podcast, a nail polish line, a mattress line, a makeup line, a clothing line, and a multi-product company.
