A MUM has shared the heinous harassment she received from a Facebook friend after having the identical chest tattoo.
After seeing an internet photo of the elaborate pattern that a tattoo artist had posted, Charley Buckham, 23, says she decided to get the inking done in 2019.
On August 13 of this year, she suddenly began getting a deluge of insults via Facebook messages from a woman going by the name of Evie, who chastised her for “copying” her design.
Charley, a resident of Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, who had recently published a photo of herself showing the tattoo, quickly realised that the woman was a Facebook friend because they both hailed from the same region.
The enraged woman hurled a barrage of epithets at the beautician, calling her a “unoriginal copycat” and a “fat heifer” who had “ruined” her tattoo.
Charley acknowledged getting the tattoo after seeing the image that Evie’s tattoo artist had posted on Facebook and “doesn’t care” that they had similar images.
Evie asserted that the design was an original sketch made just for her in the thread of angry texts.
The mother of two later discovered the post from the original tattooist from 2015, a year before Evie had the inking done by a different artist, sharing the design.
Charley remarked: “It is abominable to be disparaged for my weight as she searches for a tattoo that I could have easily found myself.
“I wouldn’t ever put myself out there and be so ugly and pathetic about a tattoo, and to then be told to grab a scalpel and chop it off my chest is just insanity.
Some of Evie’s messages read: “You’ve made it look f**king rank.
“Fat f**king heifer bet you’re used to stealing s**t as well [aren’t you]. Stole the last pork pie.
“Take a scalpel to your chest and remove MY tattoo.”
