The federal capital’s 597 buildings and construction projects have been deemed illegal and in violation of building control laws by the CDA Department of Building Control, South. The Director of Enforcement received a formal letter requesting action from him in this regard.
These buildings have been identified through geo-tagging, according to the report. In addition to uploading the images to Google Earth, Google Maps, and the ICTK website, the federal government has instructed the relevant authorities to alert the public to the illegality of these structures.
The documents list the buildings that have been deemed unlawful. The following buildings are included on the list:
- Royal Event Marquee
- Rana Plaza
- Sanobar Hills
- Imran Plaza
- Centwin Hills
- Chaman Zar Hills
- Janjua Plaza
- Waqar Plaza
- Malik Plaza
- Siraj Plaza
- Deen Palace Marquee
- VIP Apartments
- Bismillah Super Store
- Shafiq Plaza
- Hameed Plaza
- Naseem Marquee One and Two
- Creative Mind College
- Aftab School
- Muslim School
Additionally, a large number of structures near Pind Bhagwal, Lehtarar Road, Tamir, Chattha Bakhtawar, and other locations were deemed illegal. The majority of them were constructed on public property.
